If you haven’t already noticed, we’ve added a new set of integration options to your ecommerce settings that make it easier to run ad campaigns and create interactive social posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Google.

Syncing products to Google Merchant Center

Integrating your store’s product set to Google Merchant Center [↗] lets you keep product data, images, inventory count, and more in sync as you run advertisements on Google Shopping.

Integrating your store’s product set to Facebook’s Catalog Manager [↗] lets you keep product data, images, inventory count, and more in sync as you run advertisements and posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Setting up Google Analytics

Google Analytics gives valuable information about user behavior and interaction.

Facebook Pixel

To embed a Facebook pixel in your Webflow project, paste the pixel ID in project settings → integrations → Facebook pixel. If you host websites that collect personal data from EU residents, you need to comply with GDPR.

Setting up Instagram Shopping

Instagram shopping [↗] allows you to tag products in posts and link directly to those products on your Webflow Ecommerce store. Posts with tagged products will also show up in the shopping section of Instagram’s discover section, to be shown to potential new customers.

Originally from Oklahoma City but have lived in the UK, Southern Africa, and am currently in Costa Rica. My family and I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures. The world and its people are amazing!

What I do

My background since 2002 is in media design with experience in videography, graphic design, and web design. Then I transitioned to a visual developer building custom designs using Webflow. Now I work at Webflow as a QA Analyst.

When I'm not building websites, I'm talking about it here, on Youtube, on Twitter, and on the Webflow forum.

Oh just check them all out because I didn't put anything here that isn't great. I have to admit that I didn't have time to dig into all the TTT content, but I know the author's put out 💯work and got a brief look at them.

Some really diverse and impressive sites this week from clean modern to brutalist. Evolve has a great use of interaction and background videos for a media company's site. Downtown Bentonville looks like a cool place that I want to go to. I guess that means the website is doing its job. Tauro's scroll interaction has me spinning. The list of showcase sites goes on and on. Then there's good training content from Piter and WebDev For You as usual. Plus the launch of Charli Marie's video series on launching an Ecommerce site. Jose Ocando is putting on some really great video tutorial. This time it is using the pagination as a cms slider trick we learned about a couple of weeks ago. Lastly a UI kit and typewriter widget resources. Check it out.

This week was no let down! I mean let's just take a moment to breathe in the fact that product variants are live. Aahhh... that is good stuff. There were some standout showcases #madeinwebflow too and are all worth checking out. YMU is great example of a refined modern business website. Good selection of tips, tricks, and tuturials to check out when you have time or if they are relevant to your current work. Lastly Udesly released a new widget for highly customized Google Maps with custom markers.
